Creative Keyboard Club March 2020 Meeting

Rob (clavinova) and Barbara Powell (keyboard) played "Birth of The Blues", "Moonglow/Picnic" and "Taking A Chance on Love"
Denise Gunson on clavinova with a special "Happy Birthday" rendition to Sue, "Here There and Everywhere", "When I'm 64" and "The Prayer"
Our guest today was Sandy Lynch. Sandy played both our clavinova and her Tyros keyboard. Songs included "Our Love Is Here To Stay", "I Will Always Love You", "Dancing Queen", "Bewitched (Theme)", "Brown Eyed Girl", "Song For Guy", "Beauty and The Beast", "You Only Live Twice", "Belle of The Ball" (by request), "Mr Bojangles", "Diamonds are Forever" and "I Just Can't Stop Loving You". Wonderfully done Sandy.

Creative Keyboard Club February 2020 Meeting

Marlene Forrest started the new year off on her keyboard with "Etude" (Chopin), "Hey Jude" and "Mood Indigo"
Dorothy Waddell on clavinova with "We'll Gather Lilacs", "A Beautiful Lady in Blue" and "SiBonay"
Pam Rea on her keyboard with "When I Fall In Love", "Birth of The Blues" and "The Second Time Around"
Hugo Chou on clavinova with "Prelude G  Minor" (Rachmaninov)
Vince Keene on his keyboard with "We've Only Just Begun", "I Just Called to Say I Love You" and "Cry Me a River"
Murray McllWraith was our guest artist for the second half. Lots of favourites on clavinova including "Misty", "Moon River", a medley ("A Foggy Day", "Making Whoopee", "Days of Wine & Roses"), "Over The Rainbow", "A Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square", "Ain't MisBehavin'", "All The Things You Are", "You're A Lady". Doesn't get much better than that.
