As this was our A.G.M. we got away to a good start with our meeting. This was all done within 30 minutes and we were away into our afternoon's entertainment.
First up came John Beales' playing " If You Love Me , Really Love Me" and " Ava Maria" well done John.
Next we had a first time player at the
Club Slyvia Joseph. Slyvia played " Whispering" and "Distant Drums" and for a first time and feeling quite nervous she did a great job.
Noni Walker the played the Clavinova Piano with "Your Cheating Heart" and Mr Wonderful. Good one Noni!
Peter Jackson finished our first half with "Hello Dolly" and "Mr Piano Man to which he played and sang.Sang. Very nice Peter.After afternoon tea and a lot of Chat the second half got under way. This was a continuation of our Club members as we do not have a Guest Artist in Aprils when time is taken with the A.G.M.
Laurie Conder started with " Sweet Caroline" and El Conder Pasa" Playing on his Roland Keyboard. Thank you Laurie.
Ian Jackson entertained us on the piano in his lovely Jazzy Fashion! Ian played "Over the Rainbow" and Feelings"
Barbara McNab then Played two Jazz style numbers "All Of Me" and "Ja-Da"
Dave Hallam finished off a very nice afternoon with two numbers in his laid back and very entertaining way.
