Creative Keyboard Club November 2012

Our November Meeting got away to a lovely start with Len Osbourne playing on our EL 90 Yamaha Organ. This was really enjoyed by those waiting for the afternoon's entertainment to start. Thank you so much Len. Lovely to see the Organ in use.

Our first guest was Ken Mahey who played his keyboard and gave us "On the Street Where You Live"

Next came Gwynneth Beck with "Moonlight Serenade" and "Jean"  Good on you Gwynneth, not often now we have someone playing the Organ that we have all loved so much over the years.

Sylvia Joseph then entertained on her own keyboard with "April Showers" and "Spanish Eyes"
Good one Sylvia.

Colin Crann as always gave us a great performance on Our Piano with "Have You Met Miss Jones"
and "Perhaps Perhaps"

Gordon France then played his Banjo and Sang "Bye Bye Love" and "Oh Lonesome Me". Well Done Gordon.

Gordon Sutherland  came up trumps with his Korg keyboard playing " Tuxedo Junction" and "A Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square" .Very nice thanks Gordon. You play that Korg keyboard as well as anyone we have heard. Your choice of Sounds and Styles are always well produced!
(Sorry Gordon missed taking your photo!)

Peter Littljohn finished the afternoon with "Shilo" and "Longfellow Serenade"  Well done Peter.

The second half of the afternoon we were lucky to have Chris Larking playing both his Korg keyboard and our Clavinova Piano.

As always Chris was wonderful. His son Joshua  also gave us a couple of numbers on his Guitar. Well done Joshua. We will watch you do wonderful things with that Guitar over the next few years.
Do come and play for us again sooon.

Remember next Club day is our Christmas Function with our great Hampers to be won! Come along you won't be disappointed.

See you there!
