Marlene Forrest was our MC for the occasion and the arrival music was played by Carol Littlejohn who just happened to be in the vicinity after a long absence. Lovely to hear you again Carol.  Our Birthday girl was Diana Drineen and Thank You Diana for the lovely cakes at afternoon tea!

John Beales started us off on keyboard with 'Just One More Chance' and 'What a Wonderful World'. Very nicely played John

Following on was the dynamic duo of Phyl Briscoe (piano) and Marlene Forrest (keyboard) who played 'I Don't Know How To Love Him'. A long absence Phyl but you haven't lost your touch. Phyl then played the stirring 'God On The Mountain' on keyboard. Thank you both
Diane Lyons then played some toe tappers on keyboard including 'Hey Look me Over', 'Put On A Happy Face', 'Mr Sandman', 'You Belong To Me', 'Sweet Georgia Brown' and then sung along to her 'Thoroughly Modern Millie'. Thank you Diane

Mary Barrett then gave the club organ a rare airing with 'I Do Love To Be Beside The Seaside' and a medley of  'Lazy River', 'Bare Necessity' and 'Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend'. Mary hopes to be back to give the organ an airing every so often.

This was followed by Carol Littlejohn on the Tyros 4 with an Elvis and Rock 'n Roll selection of popular songs ... amongst them 'Can't help Falling..', 'Rockin' Robin', 'Rock Around The Clock' and 'Green Door'. We thank you again Carol ... you know you are always welcome at the CKC!
