Creative Keyboard Club November Meeting

November

Our November meeting got under way with lovely arrival music played by John Beale on his Yamaha Keyboard. Many thanks for this John. It is not easy to do with everyone chatting and getting organized.

Laurie Conder was our first entertainer playing his Roland Keyboard. He played "Amazing Grace"and "Alley Cat"
Catrina Lin - who is one of Jessica Chen's pupils entertained us on her accordian next and was indeed very sweet and played beautifully.
Jimmy Puppyn came next with a very nice arrangment of "Pennies from Heaven"and " Come Fly with me"on her keyboard
Next we had a special treat in Tina and Cindy Yang who are Piano pupils and neighbours of Dorothy's. They each play two lovely pieces.
Robin Brown was next playing piano "Bach's Prelude"and "True Love" Repeating  "True Love" and playing along with John Stent in his Jazzy style!
Allan Dadson gave us a lovely version on Piano of "If you love Me" and "Feelings"
Dorothy Waddell finished the afternoon with a great performance of "The Cloisters" The setup she had was amazing showing what can be done with our Clavinova Piano. At times one would think she was playing Organ! Great one Dorothy.

Afternoon tea was once again a very chatty affair, as everyone seems to look forward to a good chat before settling down to our Guest Artist Kane Steves.
Kane played first on the PA1X  " Tears from Heaven" then moving to the PA 588 Portable Piano
He played a great range of tunes for us "Endless Love"  "Hooked on a Feeling"   Saving all My Love" "Cabaret" "All of me" ending with "Silent Night" and "Wishing you a Very Merry Xmas"
