 JULY 2011 MEETING

Arrival Music was Played by Shirley Smale on her Tyros 4

 

John Beales  Played " I Know Why"  and " Fly me to the Moon"

Kunni Zang Played for the first time in public "Jeopardy Theme Song" and a Duet with Dave "G Roucrl"

 

Len Osborne came next with "Besame Mucho" and "Amore"

Marlene Forrest then entertained with "New York New York" 

 and "Pink Panther"

Laurie Conder  gave us " Memories Are Made Of This" 

and "Lady of Spain"

Last in the first half of the afternoon came Barbara McNab with" Georgia on My Mind" and Harlem Nocturn"

After a cup of tea and a chat or two our Guest Artist for the afternoon was

 

our own Dave Hallam.

Dave also introduced Joanna Jones who is new to Auckland and she sang some lovely Jazz and Blues numbers.

June 12th 2011 Meeting

Arrival Music was played by Allan Dadson on our Clavinova CVP 305 Piano.

Dave Hallam started the started the afternoon off on Piano

Followed by Rob, Barbara and Dorothy (Silver Swingers) with a program me of Songs from Around the World.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Taka Lido was the final for the first half on his Yamaha D/Deck Electone 2 manual Key board.

The first half was really enjoyed by everyone. Thank you to those

entertainers.

 

Our Second half was the very Popular Vladimir Shilov who plays the Piano in a wonderful style.

We hope Vladimir will be back again in the not to distant future!
