Creative Keyboard Club December 2014 Meeting

Marlene Forrest was the MC for the occasion and the Christmas arrival music was played by Barbara McNab on keyboard.
Our Program ...
Denise Gunson on clavinova with 'The Christmas Song', 'Spanish Eyes', 'Misty', 'Isn't She Lovely' and 'I Don't Know Why'
Barbara McNab on keyboard with 'Bolero', 'Take 5', 'Mr Sandman' and the 'Downtown Strutter's Ball'
John Cornish and David Palmer (from Settlers) on harmonica's with 'Isa Lei', 'Whistle Down the Wind' and 'Moon River'. They were accompanied on keyboard by Barbara McNab
A sumptuous afternoon tea then followed and the Christmas raffles were drawn ... lots of lovely hampers!

Taka then started the second half on his Double deck Yamaha with 'Te Quila', 'East of Eden', 'Adieus Honana', 'More than a Woman to Me' and 'Princess' (a Japanese number).
Guest vocalist and musician Murray Hancox then entertained with an impromptu selection of songs assisted by Bennie Gunn ('Georgia') and Dave Hallam ('The More I See You', 'Mary's Boy Child', 'Because of Christmas Day', 'I'm Walking', 'Runaround Sue', 'Sweet Caroline', 'Unchained melody' 'Piano Man').  We were soon into overtime and the music just kept coming!
