Our program ...
Roz Bissett on her yamaha keyboard with 'Misty' and 'You Can't Take That Away From Me'
Aria Holton on her yamaha with 'On This Swing' and 'Yesterday'
Diane Lyons on her yamaha with 'Moulin Rouge' and 'Mame' (with vocals)
Diana Dreaneen was back with a medley of 'Little Brown Jug', 'American Patrol' and 'Kiss Me Honey Honey'. Followed by 'Phantom'
Denise Gunson on Clavinova with 'Taste of Honey' and 'Desperado'
Our guest was pianist/singer Murray McIlwraith who entertained on clavinova. Murray played and sang a mix of popular classics: 'Over The Rainbow', 'Ain't Mis'behavin', 'All Of Me', 'Sunny side of The Street', 'The Lady is A Tramp', 'You're A Lady', 'As Time Goes By', 'All The Things You Are', 'A Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square', and which included some real oldies but goodies 'If You Were The Only Girl In The World', 'Sally', 'Lullaby Of Birdland'. It was Murray's first performance at the club and thoroughly enjoyed by all I'm sure. Murray was kind enough to donate half the proceeds of his CD sales to the club.
Many Thanks to All our performers today ... and we look forward to some interesting surprises at our Christmas function next month.
